I have been working on my newest memory book for 2 days now of our trip to California. I use the program Picaboo. I LOVE it! The first book I did was for my grandma's 80th birthday. It was so fun. I already had the pictures but the funnest part was talking to her about them and noting the memories in it. It was also good for her to think about them. My grandma is amazing. She can't see very well anymore but she has a great memory. She uses a viewer to look at pictures and read stuff.
Besides working with my grandma on the book (by the way I didn't tell her why I was asking about them at the time...the book was a surprise) my other great memory of the book was when I was writing the ending note to my grandma....I really got emotional when writing it and was just crying my eyes out....Brooke walked in my room and asked why I was crying. I read her what I wrote...which was thanking her for all she had done for me and the good in me....Brooke said don't cry Shawna....I thank YOU for the good in ME!! I hope she knows how much that meant to me!
